Reddington Pier Engagement Session// Emma and Dominic

Emma and Dom's love story is the sweetest. Dom was Emma's personal trainer at the gym & they quickly became best friends and fell in love shortly after. The way Dom puts it is that they were never separated after they met! He proposed with lots of roses, candles, sweet pictures of them, and love notes because Emma had mentioned before how she though the perfect proposal would be a very private one. Today they get married and I couldn't be more honored to capture their day!! <3

I have been meaning to share this couple's engagement portraits for forever now, but somehow got so behind on blogging! I say better late than never though! :) We started out in Clearwater at Candy Kitchen, a fun local ice cream shop and ended the session at Reddington Pier. Check out just how cute these two are! Also, you can never go wrong with ice cream at your engagement session, just saying ;)

Downtown Tampa Engagement // Robin and Kyle

I had been looking forward to Robin and Kyle's engagement session for quite some time! Chase and I met Robin and Kyle through a mutual friend at a party one night. I remember talking with her about when Kyle might pop the question, then squealing a few months later when he did. Y'all he proposed in the sweetest way!! He wrote on Nelly's collar (their sweet puppy)  and asked , "Can dad stay forever?!" I mean come on!!

Philippe Park Engagement Session // Savanna and Charles

These two high school sweethearts are just the cutest. They have been together for 7 years, and it is so clear how easy and comfortable their relationship is. Strong & beautiful that has been built over time. Savanna and Charles decided to bring their two adorable golden retrievers with them to the session (Nova & Stella), and it couldn't have been more perfect. The weather was crazy that day, but I loved being able to pull out my clear umbrella and incorporate that into their session. Here are a few of my faves from their engagement session. We could not be more excited for your upcoming wedding!

Bayshore Blvd Proposal// Marshall & Hillary

OH.MY.SWEETNESS!! When Marshall asked me if I would photograph when he proposed to Hillary I was so excited. Proposals are just the best and I love being a fly on the wall capturing the moments as they unfold with true raw & real emotion. We met Marshall and Hillary at Grace Family Church and have loved getting to know them and are so excited for their future together <3 Yay for more married friends :)

Marshall wanted to propose on Bayshore Blvd, on the same exact bench that Hillary and he had shared their first kiss. 30 minutes before they arrived, Chase and I went to scope out the spot and make sure no one was sitting on the bench, because Bayshore is a popular location. So we brought the rose petals to scatter at his request and we were trying to figure out how we were going to pull this off so Hillary wouldn't see us. Thank goodness for zoom lenses and a sweet husband that let me shoot over his shoulder so that we wouldn't be seen!

When Chase got the text from Marshall that they had just parked we quickly through the rose petals & started walking the opposite direction from where they were coming from! HIllary was so surprise and it was just the happiest moment!! Also, her ring is GORGEOUS! Here are a few of my favorite images. We are so happy for y'all!!

Le Meridian Hotel, Davis Island Yacht Club Engagement // Emily and David

Emily and David are both accountants that work for the same firm and just so happened to also work on the same floor. They knew of each other but had never met, until one day they got introduced and then went on a date and the rest is history! I guess you could say there story is one for the books literally and figuratively ;)  David made Emily laugh the entire night we were together. I just loved how easy their love is and it is so clear that they compliment the best parts of each other's personalities. I cannot wait for their wedding day in May :) We started the session at the beautiful Le Meridian hotel in downtown Tampa and ended at the Davis Island Yacht Club where Emily grew up sailing with her family. Such a perfect night and here are some of my favorite images below!!

Hyde Park Davis Island Engagement Session Tampa, FL// Zachary & Sara

Oh my heart! These two are true gems. Sara and Zachary have dated for 5 years and met their freshman year of college. He popped the question recently and she said yes! We met in Hyde Park and started the session at Buddy Brew Coffee.  We were only 15 minutes into the session when it started to downpour! While we ran inside Buddy Brew to take cover from the storm, I got to know them, their hearts, and just how perfect they are for each other.  After it stopped raining we drove over to the end of Davis Island and popped champagne and caught the final glimpse of the sunset! I love how Sara incorporated pink roses and champagne into the shoot. Being a style blogger (check out her site here), she really has the coolest vision and I loved getting to help bring her vision to life!! Here are some of my absolute favorites from the session.

Sand Key State Park, Clearwater, FL Engagement// Jordan and Drew

Jordan & Drew 💕. Their love and laughter is infectious. Chase and I walked away from their engagement session feeling like we were old friends. We almost had to reschedule due to rain, but the Lord answered our prayers and brought out the sun. It made for such a beautiful blue backdrop. We couldn't be more ecstatic for their February wedding on a yacht ⛴⚓️🛳😍 (I mean come on, dying over here). Here are a few of my favorite images from their dreamy session!!

Sand Key State Park, Florida Engagement Session// Colleen and Cody

My favorite thing in the world is to document love, you know that effortless kind, the kind Colleen and Cody have. As we were walking through Sand Key State Park just capturing the moments we were in, I asked them how they met, what their story was. They both looked at each other and smiled, and proceeded to tell me that they met through mutual friends on a kayaking trip. They were "just friends" for a while before falling in love and deciding to make it official. A few months ago Cody popped the question and I mean who could say no to the sweetest guy holding the most beautiful ring promising to love and cherish you forever 💍💎?!  Cody is away serving in the Coast Guard and every moment they get together is precious. So here are all the amazing images from their dreamy engagement session, and Chase and I are so excited to illustrate their beautiful day!!  Hurry up November 6!!

Hayden and Shannon {Secret Proposal}

I absolutely love capturing proposals! There is nothing posed about them, just pure, raw unfiltered emotions. I just can't help but squeal with excitement every time, because this is the beginning of a couple's beautiful future. It is an honor to me to capture moments that can be passed down from generation to generation.
I met Shannon shortly after moving down to Tampa. I've quickly come to treasure our walks along bayshore, hanging out at church events, and our maybe too frequent Chipotle dates :). I remember when Shannon and I first starting hanging out that she mentioned she was dating a really sweet guy named Hayden and they were getting pretty "serious". So I was really excited  when he contacted me about a month ago asking to help him plan how to surprise Shannon with a (stunning, might I add) engagement ring! So Hayden hatched a plan, and I followed along nervously thinking that I was going to mess something up (because I am terrible at surprises) . I told Shannon that I really needed her help photographing a kindergartener's birthday party around noon and begged her to come with me. I got her in the car with my spare camera for her to use, and headed to Curtis Hixon Park where Hayden was waiting. Once we got there I finally told her that we weren't there to photograph a birthday party and handed her a hand written note from Hayden. Now I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story...
P.S.- It's a really happy ending :)
