Hyde Park Davis Island Engagement Session Tampa, FL// Zachary & Sara

Oh my heart! These two are true gems. Sara and Zachary have dated for 5 years and met their freshman year of college. He popped the question recently and she said yes! We met in Hyde Park and started the session at Buddy Brew Coffee.  We were only 15 minutes into the session when it started to downpour! While we ran inside Buddy Brew to take cover from the storm, I got to know them, their hearts, and just how perfect they are for each other.  After it stopped raining we drove over to the end of Davis Island and popped champagne and caught the final glimpse of the sunset! I love how Sara incorporated pink roses and champagne into the shoot. Being a style blogger (check out her site here), she really has the coolest vision and I loved getting to help bring her vision to life!! Here are some of my absolute favorites from the session.

Sand Key State Park, Florida Engagement Session// Colleen and Cody

My favorite thing in the world is to document love, you know that effortless kind, the kind Colleen and Cody have. As we were walking through Sand Key State Park just capturing the moments we were in, I asked them how they met, what their story was. They both looked at each other and smiled, and proceeded to tell me that they met through mutual friends on a kayaking trip. They were "just friends" for a while before falling in love and deciding to make it official. A few months ago Cody popped the question and I mean who could say no to the sweetest guy holding the most beautiful ring promising to love and cherish you forever 💍💎?!  Cody is away serving in the Coast Guard and every moment they get together is precious. So here are all the amazing images from their dreamy engagement session, and Chase and I are so excited to illustrate their beautiful day!!  Hurry up November 6!!

Hayden and Shannon {Secret Proposal}

I absolutely love capturing proposals! There is nothing posed about them, just pure, raw unfiltered emotions. I just can't help but squeal with excitement every time, because this is the beginning of a couple's beautiful future. It is an honor to me to capture moments that can be passed down from generation to generation.
I met Shannon shortly after moving down to Tampa. I've quickly come to treasure our walks along bayshore, hanging out at church events, and our maybe too frequent Chipotle dates :). I remember when Shannon and I first starting hanging out that she mentioned she was dating a really sweet guy named Hayden and they were getting pretty "serious". So I was really excited  when he contacted me about a month ago asking to help him plan how to surprise Shannon with a (stunning, might I add) engagement ring! So Hayden hatched a plan, and I followed along nervously thinking that I was going to mess something up (because I am terrible at surprises) . I told Shannon that I really needed her help photographing a kindergartener's birthday party around noon and begged her to come with me. I got her in the car with my spare camera for her to use, and headed to Curtis Hixon Park where Hayden was waiting. Once we got there I finally told her that we weren't there to photograph a birthday party and handed her a hand written note from Hayden. Now I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story...
P.S.- It's a really happy ending :)
