OH.MY.SWEETNESS!! When Marshall asked me if I would photograph when he proposed to Hillary I was so excited. Proposals are just the best and I love being a fly on the wall capturing the moments as they unfold with true raw & real emotion. We met Marshall and Hillary at Grace Family Church and have loved getting to know them and are so excited for their future together <3 Yay for more married friends :)
Marshall wanted to propose on Bayshore Blvd, on the same exact bench that Hillary and he had shared their first kiss. 30 minutes before they arrived, Chase and I went to scope out the spot and make sure no one was sitting on the bench, because Bayshore is a popular location. So we brought the rose petals to scatter at his request and we were trying to figure out how we were going to pull this off so Hillary wouldn't see us. Thank goodness for zoom lenses and a sweet husband that let me shoot over his shoulder so that we wouldn't be seen!
When Chase got the text from Marshall that they had just parked we quickly through the rose petals & started walking the opposite direction from where they were coming from! HIllary was so surprise and it was just the happiest moment!! Also, her ring is GORGEOUS! Here are a few of my favorite images. We are so happy for y'all!!

Savanna and Charles wedding day couldn't have been more beautiful. They got married at Innisbrook Resort & Golf Course under a gorgeous live oak! The weather was absolutely perfect for their intimate outdoor ceremony and the reception that followed was a blast! My favorite moments from their wedding day was their precious first look, their fun bridal party, and the golden hour during their portraits which was incredible. We were so honored to be such a small part of their day! Wishing you both nothing but love and happiness for the years to come <3
Jennifer and Jon's intimate wedding day at Cross Creek Ranch was so gorgeous. Surrounded by their closest family and friends they were married outdoors under the most beautiful floral arch and celebrated the night away at the French Country Inn. A few of my favorite moments from their wedding was Jen and Jon's first touch & their first dance where Jon couldn't keep his eyes off her the entire time. Every detail was perfect & their bridal party was just the sweetest. It is obvious how deep their love is for each other!
If you want to know more about their love story and how they met, check out their engagement session here. I cannot say enough lovely things about this couple, and truly am so grateful to get to work with people like them! Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness. Here are a few of my favorite shots below! :)
2017 was seriously an incredible year. We were honored to serve some amazing couples on their wedding days & lots of seniors and families. This post is mainly just wedding outtakes and engagement behind the scenes! My sweet friend Jessie came to a couple weddings to video & third shoot with us. We love you, Jessie, & are so thankful for you. You can check out her work here. So without further adieu here are the behind the scene outtakes from this year. Some are pretty hilarious. Hope you enjoy these! And thank you for each client that made this year a dream & so much fun!! We are so grateful for you.
What a dream this day was! Kaitlin and Paul exchanged vows under a canopy of trees overlooking a private lake with their closest friends and family surrounding them. Everything got a little more dreamy once the sunset and the twinkly lights lit up the entire reception!!
David and Emily's story & relationship is full of grace, joy, and love. So it didn't surprise me in the least when their wedding day was just as meaningful. Their chapel ceremony at Hyde Park United Methodist and backyard reception at their now home was perfect for them, but I have to say their first look was one of my favorite moments from the day. Time slowed down, and they were able to get some time to themselves to soak in the fact that it was their wedding day. Emily couldn't have looked more radiant. David has this way of making her laugh that is so contagious. Chase and I loved hanging with such a fun wedding party throughout the day. Here is to the new Mr. and Mrs. Read. May God bless your marriage & new life together. Wishing you both all the happiness in the world. Thank you for entrusting me to photograph your wedding day.
It was 75 degrees and sunny in Clearwater, Florida and we had been looking forward to Jordan and Drew's wedding day ever since their engagement session. If you would like to see their romantic, beach engagement session click here. We started the day at the Holiday Hampton Inn for getting ready pictures, family portraits, and the sweetest first look ever. Then moved into the ceremony and reception on the Starlite Majesty Dinner Yacht. Surrounded by family and friends, Jordan and Drew shared personal, heartfelt vows followed into dancing the night away! What I love most about Jordan and Drew's relationship is how real they are and how much they equally adore each other. Their wedding day was a perfect picture of their love and we were so honored to capture it! Chase and I had never been on a dinner cruise before and that was really fun to experience as well :) Here are a few of my favorite images from there incredible day.
I have been dying to share Anna Marie's bridal portraits since the moment I took them!! Now that she is officially a married lady, get ready for an overload of sharing :) :) To see her how beautiful their wedding was click here. She radiates joy, love, and positivity and we truly had the best time with her mom, sister, and friend joining us!! Special shout out to them for helping carry bags and throw her veil and being there for moral support. We started in downtown Charleston by the battery, and then moved into some local streets with beautiful backdrops, and ended in the same park where Ben proposed to her!! It was seriously just the sweetest. Take a look at how beautiful she is! :)
January 21st, 2017 was such a special day. It was the day Ben and Anna Marie promised each other forever in Rock Hill, SC at the church she grew up in. With all of their friends and family around to witness and celebrate their love for each other, they made a covenant to each other made before God. This wedding was so special to Chase and I because we knew both Anna Marie and Ben from Clemson. What I love about their story though is that Ben and Anna were just friends throughout college. They both moved to Charleston after graduation, and pretty soon after that's when Ben asked her out on their first date. After dating for about a year after, Ben proposed in the sweetest way and Anna said YES! It was so fun to watch this relationship grow from a far :) To see their engagement session from downtown Charleston click here.
Emma and Dom's love story is the sweetest. Dom was Emma's personal trainer at the gym & they quickly became best friends and fell in love shortly after. The way Dom puts it is that they were never separated after they met! He proposed with lots of roses, candles, sweet pictures of them, and love notes because Emma had mentioned before how she though the perfect proposal would be a very private one. Today they get married and I couldn't be more honored to capture their day!! <3
I have been meaning to share this couple's engagement portraits for forever now, but somehow got so behind on blogging! I say better late than never though! :) We started out in Clearwater at Candy Kitchen, a fun local ice cream shop and ended the session at Reddington Pier. Check out just how cute these two are! Also, you can never go wrong with ice cream at your engagement session, just saying ;)
I had been looking forward to Robin and Kyle's engagement session for quite some time! Chase and I met Robin and Kyle through a mutual friend at a party one night. I remember talking with her about when Kyle might pop the question, then squealing a few months later when he did. Y'all he proposed in the sweetest way!! He wrote on Nelly's collar (their sweet puppy) and asked , "Can dad stay forever?!" I mean come on!!
These two high school sweethearts are just the cutest. They have been together for 7 years, and it is so clear how easy and comfortable their relationship is. Strong & beautiful that has been built over time. Savanna and Charles decided to bring their two adorable golden retrievers with them to the session (Nova & Stella), and it couldn't have been more perfect. The weather was crazy that day, but I loved being able to pull out my clear umbrella and incorporate that into their session. Here are a few of my faves from their engagement session. We could not be more excited for your upcoming wedding!
Oh my heart! These two are true gems. Sara and Zachary have dated for 5 years and met their freshman year of college. He popped the question recently and she said yes! We met in Hyde Park and started the session at Buddy Brew Coffee. We were only 15 minutes into the session when it started to downpour! While we ran inside Buddy Brew to take cover from the storm, I got to know them, their hearts, and just how perfect they are for each other. After it stopped raining we drove over to the end of Davis Island and popped champagne and caught the final glimpse of the sunset! I love how Sara incorporated pink roses and champagne into the shoot. Being a style blogger (check out her site here), she really has the coolest vision and I loved getting to help bring her vision to life!! Here are some of my absolute favorites from the session.
When Anna Marie reached out to me a few months ago starting with "I know this is a long shot because we know how far Tampa is from SC, but we love your work and are going to dream big here and see if you were available Jan 21, 2017 in Rock Hill, SC." I couldn't have been more honored and truly so excited. I knew Anna Marie through FCA at Clemson and Chase knew Ben through mutual friends at Clemson as well. What I love about their story though is that Ben and Anna were just friends throughout college. They both moved to Charleston after graduation, and pretty soon after that's when Ben asked her out on their first date. After dating for about a year after, Ben proposed in the sweetest way and Anna said YES! It was so fun to watch this relationship grow from a far :)
Jordan & Drew 💕. Their love and laughter is infectious. Chase and I walked away from their engagement session feeling like we were old friends. We almost had to reschedule due to rain, but the Lord answered our prayers and brought out the sun. It made for such a beautiful blue backdrop. We couldn't be more ecstatic for their February wedding on a yacht ⛴⚓️🛳😍 (I mean come on, dying over here). Here are a few of my favorite images from their dreamy session!!
My favorite thing in the world is to document love, you know that effortless kind, the kind Colleen and Cody have. As we were walking through Sand Key State Park just capturing the moments we were in, I asked them how they met, what their story was. They both looked at each other and smiled, and proceeded to tell me that they met through mutual friends on a kayaking trip. They were "just friends" for a while before falling in love and deciding to make it official. A few months ago Cody popped the question and I mean who could say no to the sweetest guy holding the most beautiful ring promising to love and cherish you forever 💍💎?! Cody is away serving in the Coast Guard and every moment they get together is precious. So here are all the amazing images from their dreamy engagement session, and Chase and I are so excited to illustrate their beautiful day!! Hurry up November 6!!
Y'all!! Hayden and Shannon (aka our sweetest friends) are officially back in Tampa and doing incredible things for the Lord. Hayden is the new student pastor at Christ Community Church and we couldn't be more excited to support them in this new chapter. We took some fun roof top shots for their moving announcement and like usual they are complete naturals in front of the camera and the most hipster couple I know ;) Meet the newest addition to the Roberts family, Zion their pup! He is adorable as well! We love y'all!! Excited for lots of frouple dates in the future!

Emma and Dom got married last weekend at La Belle Amour Tampa! It was such a beautiful day as friends and family came to celebrate with them. I had been looking forward to this day since I met them. They are so kind, easy going, and totally in love which makes my job so easy! Some of my favorite moments from their wedding day were their intimate first look, tear-filled vows, and all the amazing details including one of the most beautiful cakes I've ever seen.
Emma and Dom, Chase and I are wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness. Thank you for choosing & trusting me to capture your wedding day. It was an honor to walk through engagement and wedding season with you both! Also, a special thanks to Elaine Garland for second shooting with me this day and for being amazing! (Seeing as I shot this wedding 38 weeks pregnant, you were a lifesaver!)
