Day 2 &3 Venice, Italia

On our second day in Venice, we woke up to the sound of rain at first of course was a little bummed. But by the time we ate breakfast and put on our rain jacket and walked outside the rain has stopped and it became a really pretty day. We navigated our way through that narrow streets of Venice and followed the signs that said "to Saint Marco Square". We stopped for a quick lunch then toured the Doge's Palace which was where the Venetian government was held and full of so much history. We walked around a little bit more and then finally went on the Grand Canal cruise at sunset. This is one my favorite memory from Venice! We got front row seats on vaporetti and took so many pictures. We ended the night with dinner along the river and amazing gelati! Here are some of my favorite images below!!

The next morning we woke up at 5 AM for a sunrise anniversary session with our photographers, Urska & Domen that I connected with on the rising tide society. They are AMAZING photographers and people. It was super cool to get to know them. I wore a light pink gown and Chase were a blazer with khaki pants. Since we woke up so early, a perk of that was being able to see an empty Venice which is truly breathtaking. This was hands down my favorite memory from the entire trip! To see images from that session, click the image below.

After our session was over, we walked back to the hotel to grab breakfast and then took a quick power nap. Once we woke up we checked out of the hotel we people watched in St Marco's Square, while trying to not get attacked by the pigeons that were everywhere. We did a quick tour through St. Mark's Basilica and then had to run and catch our first train to Florence, which was a crazy experience haha!!

Up next, Florence!! :)
