I thought this post would be totally appropriate as the Tampa Bay Lighting Hockey season kicks off tonight to share a senior session of one of their biggest fans!! I have known Ashley since she was in 9th grade, and it has been the biggest blessing to watch her grow in my small group for the last few years. She is truly radiant, inside and out, and has a heart that is pure gold! She and her family love the Lighting so much, and I thought it was seriously so perfect that they incorporated it into her senior session!!
Hope is seriously so gorgeous, inside and out and I loved getting to know her during her senior session. Hope graduated this year from the Academy of Holy Names in Tampa and is attending the University of Alabama in the fall. We met up at Cypress Point Park for the shoot and had the best time walking around!! She was up for anything which I love because it always makes the best portraits. EX: her in this tree (all the heart eyeessssss) and venturing out into a field with me :) Here are some of my favs below.
Y'all meet one of my amazing 2017 spokesmodels, Claudia! We had too much fun at her session. She has the kindest heart and truly so beautiful :) Here are some fun questions that I asked Claudia that will help you get to know her better!
YAY! Amy's senior session at Davis Island and University of Tampa last Saturday morning was just the best. She is so easy-going and down to earth, oh and did I mention how beautiful she is? She is the editor and chief of Plant's Yearbook (which is a huge job and honor!) She would love to attend Auburn University in the fall which is such a great school. I absolutely loved getting to know her during our time together and can't wait to share with you some of my favorite images from her session below!! Amy, enjoy every minute of this year!! Can't wait to see all that you will accomplish and the plans God has for you!
I met Rachel the morning of her session at Oxford Exchange and we had the best time! She is so genuine which made it so easy to get to know her and her heart! She is the editor of Plant High School's school newspaper and is interesting in attending Indiana University or Florida State once she graduates in May! Her red dress contrasted beautifully against the white was brick at Oxford Exchange. We walked over to University of Tampa afterwards and got some more beautiful scenic backdrops! Rachel, I hope you have a wonderful senior year and can't wait to see all you will accomplish :) Thank you for choosing me to capture your senior year! Here are some of my favs!
Elizabeth is incredible! It was so easy to get to know her while walking in downtown Tampa with her and her girls. Her heart , dreams, goals, and passions are inspiring. We started at the Straz Center, which was super fitting for her personality because she has a true love for theatre. Elizabeth is the Thespian Troupe president at Plant High School as well as president of Youth in Government Club. Then we made our way over to the Tampa Museum of Art, which has some really cool walls and made for the neatest backdrops!! Elizabeth's dream college is Columbia in New York! I can't even wait to see her make her mark on this world!! Here are some of my favorites from her senior session :)
This is a sweet post for me, because my sister is one of my best friends. I just can't get over the fact that my little sister (as in 7 years younger was truly my baby doll growing up) is a SENIOR in high school. Maybe it's partially the acknowledgement that it will be 7 years since I graduated high school when she graduates, but man I feel like I'm holding back tears just typing this. She has become so beautiful inside and out, and is one of the best friends and sister a girl could ask for. So let me tell you about Rosemary, my twin or "mini me" with red hair (oops sorry I'm suppose to say strawberry blond ;) Rosemary is seriously amazing. She is smart, funny, sassy, yet kind, and loves her family and Jesus so well. On top of being in challenging classes in school, she is a swimmer, a musician, and really anything else she sets her mind to be. I always joke when describing Rose to my friends as the sassier version of me, which its true. I wish i could think as fast on my feet as she can, or do really cool Russian accents that have people rolling on the floor laughing.
It's your year Rose. Take a moment to breathe in and out and remember that God has incredible plans for you. I can't wait to see all the things you accomplish, the lives you touch, and the journey God has for you. We are your biggest cheerleaders!! Love you!
I am so excited to announce for the first time ever that I am searching for 5 to 6 ladies graduating in 2017 in the South Tampa area whose inward beauty shines through, who feel confident in front of the camera, and who wouldn't mind spending a little extra time with me to represent ABK Photography at their schools! If you love being in front of the camera, feeling a part of a team, hanging out with incredible new friends, and having FUN then keep reading :)
Makenna's senior session was truly a blast! We started in downtown St Pete and ended up at the Dali Museum, which is right next to where she will be attending USF St Pete in the fall! Her mom and sister came with us which was so fun and we all grabbed dinner together on the way home. I have had the privilege of knowing Makenna for the past year through church and she is such an amazing girl, inside and out. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for her. Wishing you nothing but the best sweet girl!! Here are some of my favorite images from her session :)
Courtney is a stunner with an infectious smile that kept me smiling the whole session. To say we hit it off during her senior session was an understatement!! She is so cool y'all and just as beautiful on the inside as the outside 💕. We found some lovely spring flowers in Hyde Park and had to stop to snap this image then headed to my favorite rooftop that overlooks the entire downtown Tampa Skyline!!
Can't wait to see where the Lord leads you in college girl!! FSU is so lucky to have you!! Keep shining bright and remember whose you are 💕 All my rising seniors (#classof2017) Stay tuned for some really exciting announcements directed at you coming soon!!
Wow!! Abby is seriously such a natural beauty and her laugh is so contagious. I had the best time getting to know her during her senior session at University of Tampa and Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club! Thankfully the rain held off and it turned out to be such a beautiful day. Abby is going to be attending the University of Florida in the fall and I just couldn't be more excited for her. Abby, I know you will succeed in whatever you choose to do!! Thank you for choosing me to capture your senior year!!
Kelly has a heart of gold. She is so kind and down to earth, and did I mention a natural model?! I mean come on!! I loved getting to know her and her future plans during her Ulitmate ABKP Senior session. We started out at the University of Tampa then made our way down to Ullele (which is such a fun spot that I had never been to before), and then wrapped it up with my favorite skyline spot in Tampa. This girl got a FULL RIDE to Auburn, which is where my mom attended so it was fun to have that connection!! So of course we had to throw on the official college tee for a tee for a few shots!
Kelly, wishing you nothing but the best in your future! Thank you for choosing me to document such a special season of your life. War Eagle :)
When I met Carson for the first time it was as if we had known each other forever! She definitely is such a people person and immediately we clicked! We started off at Oxford Exchange with the beautiful white walls that make her stand out and then moved over to University of Tampa with the classic brick and greenery. We ended in her backyard with lots joy and glitter! So fun!! The whole time we were together talking she was just telling me of all her dreams and plans for after high school. She just recently had been accepted into her dream school Notre Dame, and is ecstatic to be attending there in the fall! Carson, keep shining girl! The Lord has some incredible plans for you!
"She is clothed in strength and dignity and laughs without fear of the future." -Proverbs 31: 25. How beautiful is this verse and the meaning behind it. This session is quickly becoming one of my most recent favorites, just because of how joyful Rebekah is, how cool it was to shoot on a roof top of a parking garage with the Tampa skyline in the background, and her mom made her a floral crown.. I mean, come on.
When Mary Elizabeth asked me if I would be willing to travel to her family farm in South Florida to take some family portraits and some senior portraits I was so excited! As much as I have been loving the city life, this weekend trip was seriously so needed for my little country girl heart...
Happy sweet 16 to the sweetest girl!! Hanna, you radiant joy. I loved getting to spend time with you and your mom. I could not be more excited about how these images turned out! We started the morning off in a fun "field" in South Tampa and then headed over to Hyde Park where we found a cute pumpkin patch and Hanna's adorable cousin Leland who I took pictures of a few months ago! To see that session click here. A few of my favorite details where the sunflowers, book, and sparklers that they brought along because those all reflect Hanna's personality :) Here are some of my favorites below!!

So excited to finally share Meredith's senior session today! I have been playing catch up for sure on the blog :) Meredith graduated from Plant High School and is attending the University of Florida doing incredible things, like being on their dance team called the Dazzlers. We took her portraits at Cypress Point Park, Hyde Park, and UT. My favorite part of her session was when I got to see her in her element, dancing! You are so beautiful inside and out girl! Wishing you nothing but the best for your future! :)
